Spike
If it is then that's me done with this club until the board leave. My thoughts exactly.
Rob k
I would have a very large wager on the OP being correct!
The Bard
I would have a very large wager on the OP being correct! As would I. He knows Keith Burt through Forest. They have been planning this for some time - can't see why they'd sack a manager as a reaction to a promising performance against one of the best sides in the league. Someone is lined up. Gazred
The only name mentioned so far that's not filled me with despair is Tisdale, even then im left feeling a little underwhelmed. What with our Spanish connections now, what chances of an a relative unknown to come over?

Robin101
Russell Slade Bet he'd jump at the chance to swap probable championship for probable league 2.
Aizoon
Hardly fits the 5 pillars or have we abandoned that now?? The Board has abandoned hope and abandoned its senses. Aizoon
Bet he'd jump at the chance to swap probable championship for probable league 2. With the certainty of being sacked before he could turn things round - dream on! Oh, but sorry, I forgot. We're a Big Club.
Mendip City
A few years ago if have supported Cotterill but his career seems to have gone backwards. I hate to say this but..... if they plan to keep Burt...... Well he's worked with Cotterill before and no other back room changes needed (another ex-Forest set up). Of course, if we're really sticking to the new philosophy then we appoint the u21 manager..... So Mark O'Connor it is.

The Right Honourable Les Q
Warnock?! All the best SOD - good luck in the future. That's sweet. He just "signed out" quarter of an hour ago, but said he'll be browsing again soon. Said he's off to get some Chrimbo trinkets.
The Right Honourable Les Q
Beggars can't be choosers. We're not selecting from the top table, not even the scraps on the floor under the top table. We're out the back by the bins. Expecting many unhappy punters when the new name is announced. And ongoing problems and struggle (this Sod pessimism is catching)
Taylor10
90% sure this will happen. Thoughts? Don't even go there. A long ball merchant who has done what exactly?? Don't wind me up fella I don't need this today!! I will be fuming, absolutely fuming if he gets it.

hippy273
Warnock?! Are you kidding?!?! Guy is a long ball merchant. Cotterill Wil be a good appointment. Think he's done well at a lot of clubs in tough circumstances, and laid good ground work for success - burnley, forest. I'd go for Tisdale or lee Johnson personally. Need to keep playing good football. All the best SOD - good luck in the future. Maybe, but he's also very discplined and not afraid to argue with refs (much like Clough on Saturday)

italian dave
Maybe, but he's also very discplined and not afraid to argue with refs (much like Clough on Saturday) Old strategy: long term, stability, youth, financial prudence. New strategy: argue with refs. Well, I suppose it's worked for most of Warnocks career.
