Welcome To The Jungle
One of the concessions at Notts County is unemployed. Never seen this before, I suppose they could attract some Forest fans out of work. Has anyone come across this before? http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/awaytickets-nottsca-1314-1225759.aspx

Has anyone come across this before? http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/awaytickets-nottsca-1314-1225759.aspx Wasn't there a scheme a few years back where if you were on a certain level of DLA you had a discount? Ben4BCFC
Never seen this before but as a student in Nottingham I can assure you that there is a huge number of unemployed people in and around the City. Wouldn't be surprised if these are the people they are targeting and just have the same option available for away fans.
Bar BS3
Disgraceful! imo.
Mad Cyril
They should introduce this at City. Never a more powerful incentive to go out and find work...
JammyOne
Don't they already get a discount in as much they don't pay income tax? EDIT

Bristol Rob
I remember years back the unemployed got cheap match tickets at Ashton Gate on production of their UB40. (I now expect a number of ill conceived music puns).

Red-Robbo
I'd say it would be a way of recognising that many supporters, through no fault of their own, have lost their jobs and find it tough to watch their team. When they find work, I'm sure they'll show plenty of loyalty to a club that showed loyalty to them.
New Dazzler
Pretty sure that such a scheme was brought in at Coventry during the Thatcher-inspired recession of the early 80s, the high un-employment in the city made it worth the club's while to do it, rather than just lose revenue from those unfortunate enough to lose their jobs.........................fade into the introduction of Ghost Town by The Specials! Can't believe that so many are horrified by this (well I can actually), this sort of thing always makes for a good respectful debate

RedRidingHood
Thing is, there are people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and who we should help to get back on their feet in whatever way we can. Unfortunately there are others for whom living off benefits is not only their 'right' it's their life choice and they are all lumped together under the label of 'scrounger'. I think their lazy arses are being kicked back to work currently. And remember this is City fans we're talking about - not the Blue Few. ;-)

slartibartfast
The point is, IMHO, the bonafide "work shy, where's my hand out" would probably never be interested in something like getting off their arses and having to make their own way to something as "boring" as a football match. Doesn't seem to fit the demographic somehow.

screech
Lets hope that some of our fans never see themselves out of work through no fault of their own.
