petehinton
They were the tiny ones a lot of players have now without the straps that they tape up. He looked like a right **** with his socks by his ankles

Welcome To The Jungle
Law 4 states that shin pads must be worn at all levels http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/laws/football-11-11/law-4---the-players-equipment.aspx
wayne allisons tongues
Thanks, thought that was the case. His socks were petty much by his ankles all game. If he did have shin pads on must of been tiny and not that much protection.
Taylor10
Grealish was quality but what a petulant little****. Kept stopping and throwing his arms in the air any time someone went near him. The sort of thing Ronaldo does really it was embarrassing. Had he got his head down and got on with it he would of carved us apart yesterday. As for the socks/ shin pad situation it was pretty stupid. Wearing them like that cant even be comfy surely? I personally think he wears them like that so he has some identity and is known for doing it. Kind of known for it being 'his thing' and it's how Jack Grealish has his socks. I despair at some footballers in this day.
TRL
Most pros wear things akin to a bit of cardboard. Its only at non league level and beloe you start to see the chunky things us mere mortals wear. It has been like that for as long as I can remember certainly back to the 70's
