Aizoon
Jesus! Saying that though, wasn't 63 the worst winter on record? It was seriously bad, although people older than I say 47 was worse.
EstoniaTallinnRed
Jesus! Saying that though, wasn't 63 the worst winter on record? Started on Boxing Day (NIGHT) and stayed on the ground until early April. I call it the BIG! Freeze. I was 17 then and remember waking up on the 27th and the front door wouldn't open as the snow was half way up it. My Father worked for Bristol Corporation and was called out in the middle of the night to go gritting. No machines in those days, they had to sit in the back of a lorry and shovel the grit on to the roads. Very hard, cold work. Can't remember how many City games were postponed that year, perhaps someone knows.
Chivs
No you didn't, we are getting a desso 4 pitch like Swansea have with undersoil heating. WTF a desso 4 pitch is, I have no bleedin' idea! It's the upgrade on the desso 3 pitch. Jeez, some people...
