My daughter asking me to give up for her 5th birthday was all the inspiration I needed. I did not want to let her down. I would now class myself as a non smoker and never intend on starting again as I would never ever want to go through giving up again. For those finding it it hard to give up try this. Sit down and just imagine having to tell your kids that you only have 6 months to live and just for one minute imagine how you will feel when you see their world fall apart in front of you. Posted January 25, 2014 Report Share Posted January 25, 2014 I'm working in a place now where smoking isn't really appropriate so go all day without tobacco and just have a rollie at night with the use of vapour fags/gum. I feel much healthier for it already. Don't really want to quit altogether but hate the daily dependence on it. "A key component of success is desire" - Me, 2014.
