bristolcitysweden
We could easily have let in 5-6 goals against Watford. SC seems to be capable of adressing the obvious.
BRISTOL86
Wouldn't expect to see him start immediately after signing, maybe bench tomorrow, then competing for a starting place?

OldlandReddies
It will be a toss up between Flint and Williams as SC didn't sign either and I suspect it will be the former as the left foot of Williams will win the day due to the balance of the team. Absolutely no chance. He goes straight into the team and probably will be given the armband.
RedM
I got the feeling he will start, show a real statement of intent. I wouldn't think the club will promise first team football to any player but I think AEH will expect it. It will be up to the other players to make the manager pick them for the other places. I think Cotterill said before Watford that Williams hamstring was sore so that might decide tomorrow, other than that someone is always injured or suspended so if there are more players than spaces it's a nice problem to have. LocoPal
For me it should be back to 4-4-2 ASAP with Baldock Jet Bryan Reid Pack Wagstaff Cunningham El Abd Flint Osbourne Parish Fielding, Williams, Burns, Elliott, Maloney, Gillett, Barnett In games El-Abd has started or been subbed into play from November til last week his record is: W (3-0) v Blackburn (h) (used as sub on 93'), W (0-1) v Wigan (a) W (3-1) v Leicester (h) (used as sub on 18'), W (0-1) v Middlesborough (a) D (0-0) v Huddersfield (h) L (3-2) v Charlton (a) W (0-1) v Blackpool (a) D (1-1) v Bournemouth (h) W (1-0) v Reading (FAC) W (1-0) v Birmingham (h) (used as sub on 91') Collecting just two yellow cards in this period. In two matches in this period he did not play, Barnsley (h) L (1-2) (not on bench) & Bournemouth (a) D (1-1) (unused sub)
Taylor10
Not sure why people are assuming Williams will be dropped. SC has made it clear he likes a left footer on the left side of the back 3. Proven by his use of Fontaine. I would be very surprised if he continued with a back 3 and dropped Del. I personally think Osbourne could come under pressure. He was very poor at Watford and although I rate him highly his distribution is very poor. It's all guess work though but we do have healthy competition for places at the back now.
