Oxford Red
I will go. I'm fortunate enough for money not to be an issue, more time and where I am on a week to attend. I'll be there if it's League 2. Still not sure why I do it, all this fking football club has ever done is let me down....

Red-Robbo
I will renew. It's about more than just football for me. Fortunately!
BITW
I wish I could not get a season ticket but I always have and always will. It's utter garbage at the moment but I couldn't be anywhere else at 3pm every other Saturday. Once BCFC has hold of you there's no going back

Admin phantom Posted February 10, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted February 10, 2014 If our crowds drop 4,000 people I doubt very much they all suddenly had kids or lost their jobs Very true, but there is value for money that must come into it for many- we only have to look around the stands this season to see the interest levels are dropping already. Would expect a natural depreciation in numbers if the standard of opposition each week dropped

Opeth67
It's the thought of playing teams like Accrington, Morecambe, Fleetwood et al. that puts me off renewing. And being sick when finding they are probably better teams than us. And playing on a rugby pitch at home - with the only recourse being hoofing long balls upfield (more than we do now). Yet I'll still probably end up renewing.
Barrs Court Red
2nd child due in June and the mrs works some weekends, so a season ticket hasn't been vfm in my case in years. If I was in a position to get a season ticket I would regardless the league. As it is I doubt I'll lose much sleep!

Cap flinger
Any adult currently in the EE could find their season ticket cost going up by about 60%, add to this the high possibility of playing in league 2 next season........hardly much of any incentive is it! KeepUpLino
Aaaah so people can find the money for a ST when we're Championship but as we slip to League 1 then League 2 it suddenly becomes too much of a financial burden. So so convenient. You hero... Some people have better things to do than support shit!!
dezgimed
You hero... Some people have better things to do than support shit!! Nothing heroic about it. You go to footy to have a laugh with your mates and unwind. Not for the quality of the football.

BS34Red
Just a thought but if we went down then I expect our crowds would be around 8k, wouldn't it then make more sense to do more of the redevelopment whilst we are in the Basement? Currently the plan is to just do the EE next season but surely whilst crowds are low it would make a lot of sense to crack on with the rest of it? Get the boxes and lifts put into the Dolman and corparate facilities built in the off season and then knock the Williams down also and get cracking on that. And as the building progresses we could part open parts of the new stands like Wolves did.
Wanderingred
What would the capacity of AG be if we just had the dolman and atyeo? Around 10k i'd guess? Feasable if we were in the basement league but then if we did well or drew a big team in the cup that would make things difficult!
054123
I dont see how what division your club is in should determine whether or not you go and support your team. Sounds like too many people gave fallen for the premiership murdoch press con. Let me ask this. The season after next when we are flying and going to win tbe league by 20 points, how many will go and why? Of course, none of the above should be confused with new t being ABLE to go. All of us have known periods where money , location, family etc. Means we cant make it. Ultimately you either support your local football club or you dont. Choosing not too based solely on what division their name is currentky slotted into sounds a little fickl to me.
Strawberry2157.
I don't have one, if I can afford it in the summer then I'll get one otherwise I'll be there every match regardless. My club, doesn't matter the division.
