I've read a lot of "where would we be without him comments" on here. In response to that I'd say we could have signed someone else. Someone that could get on the end of some crosses, someone that could nod the ball down for Baldock, someone that could score 10 in a season, someone that could help us defend corners and other set pieces better. Not as dazzling to watch, but more versatile (as you need in this division) that would see us a bit higher up the table. I just don't see how he fits into a side hoping to challenge at the top of the third division.
