Super
Nobody actually knows.......... despite all the condemnation quite possibly nothing. Possibly, but most on here have said it was a matter of time before he got a red card. Quote Link to comment
willitonciderhead
Was it Lee Tomlin that was sent of when Peterborough played us at Ashton Gate???? They were up to tricks in that game but came unstuck if my memory serves me correctley. Quote Link to comment

Taylor10
We were absolutely cruising until the sending off. Furious. I didn't actually see it but I don't know what the **** he is doing getting involved. Absolute liability. Everyone has put in a great shift but an extremely tough 45 ahead. 1 Quote Link to comment
bucksred
And, yes, Peterborough is a shitehole. Not as bad as Gillingham, mind... Oh I dont know. The locals are decidedly unfriendly and uncivilized Zoooooner! Quote Link to comment
bristolcitysweden
Frustrating & as said we need atleast another goal to get something from this game Quote Link to comment
Kid in the Riot
We need to cut our losses on El Bad and get rid in the summer. Not as if no-one saw this coming! 1 Quote Link to comment
Portland Bill
Radio Bristol commentator's said someone who had seen the incident on the tv said, it was an off the ball elbow to the head! No doubt we will see it for ourselves over the next 24 hours and can make up our own minds! Quote Link to comment
Oxford Red
Well what can I say. We were far the better side first 20 mins. Even looked like getting a 3rd and Baldock was proving a handful. Peterborough were awful. The cross field balls were flying out and nothing was going right. We were comfortable Then a moment of madness. I didn't see it. I followed the ball but then saw their player lying on the floor holding his face. As soon as I saw the linesman waving his flag I knew we were in trouble. Down to ten men it's been impressive. Cotterill has put them as two banks of four and were giving up the middle just staying solid. Jet is the lone striker on the centre circle. The tackles have been strong. Osbourne had marshalled him, Williams, Moloney and Wagstaff well. The two midfield boys are coming out of the bank and closing the middle runners this time. It's hard though. This guy is a classic home towner. He is giving them everything, we really need to be careful, they are looking for a pen and he is liable to give it. Work to do this half but this is a solid performance with City players chasing everything and running and tackling for everything. They deserve applauding off in 45 min no matter what happens. Good goal by them but v annoying to concede when we did. 4 Quote Link to comment

You're bang on about the ref he's been awful and a complete homer. He will no doubt give them more. Quote Link to comment
Oxford Red
When El Abd came off. Pemberton patted his back. Cotterill stood with his arms folded looking straight past him. Then Started signalling 4 across the line. 1 Quote Link to comment

samo II
If we're leaving JET up, no slight on the lad, but I hope we have Burns warming up. Played well by all accounts against England, and rested totally at the weekend; would be nice to see him working Peterborough on the break ofr a good 20 mins. Quote Link to comment

Then Started signalling 4 across the line. If El Abd has been an aggressive idiot, then this will take the pressure off SC to drop his signing. Come on City! Ten men hard to play against. We can get the three points. 1 Quote Link to comment
