Sweet 3-0. COYR. Stevenage wanting to fight among themselves.

A goal for JET would be good now...

Why, at least today proves that even without our most "influential" player for the most part we can score goals.

Our form since beating Carlisle first game in February is the stuff of playoff contenders, even taking into account the odd defeat here and there.

Cotterill had one job; keep us in the division, and he's done it with two games to spare; massive congratulations to him.

Now we are safe as houses, the next step is to start putting the pieces in place to be able to hit the ground running next year.

League One next year will be far more competitive I feel, looking at the teams exiting and arriving.

There is no big hitter like Wolves likely to walk the league, and none of those looking like coming down to replace them.

SC has a task on his hands balancing out the squad, but with a full summer to complete the work he's already started, should be interesting.

I am hoping Birmingham do not come down...

True, they'd be a big fish, but they are in dire, dire straights off the pitch, which would be exacerbated by relegation.

Unlike Wolves, I doubt they'd have the fiscal muscle to retain key players like Wanderers did with Sako, Ikeme and Stearman, nor the money to cherry pick players like Henry or McDonald or Clarke, all of whom are Championship quality.

Plus, the lack of parachute payments to soften the blow of having so many higher earners would not be great, and I must say; Clark is not a manager I have much time for, unlike Jackett.

I fear Brum a lot less than Yeovil, who at least kept their belts tight and retained the core squad who made it out of this league last year, and have a better manager fo this division.
