bcfcbs20
He isn't renewing his contract at the end of season and will be looking for a new club. Just want to wish him all the best for future a top lad who gave 100% he will be missed.
AlwaysARed
How do you know this? Hope its true, he certainly wouldn't be a part of my plans going forward, average league one player at best, but he'll do alright for a team like Bradford or Port Vale next season. Bedminster Born And Red
How do you know this? Hope its true, he certainly wouldn't be a part of my plans going forward, average league one player at best, but he'll do alright for a team like Bradford or Port Vale next season. He had two or three seasons for us where he was immense but having to do another players running and tackling caught up with the bloke in the end!! Best of luck to him though because he always gave his all for the club.

sglosbcfc
He is a player that should always be afforded the warmest of welcomes when returning to the Gate. A player that nearly drove the City team to the Premiership. Marv always gave 100% for the jersey.

Major Isewater
Fonts not renewing his either I wish Fonts and Marv all the best for the future. Two players who will always be associated with some of our best moments in the history of BCFC. Perhaps they stayed a little too comfortable towards the end but hopefully new challenges can give them both the boost to finish their careers on a high .For once ,no pun intended . Thank you Marvin ,Thank you Liam.
chipdawg
I wish them both all the best, they have both, at points in the their City careers, been brilliant for us (though they've equally had some low points) and it wouldn't surprise me if both of them earn contracts at a higher level than City will be playing next season
Slacker
They were both in the team during some fantastic times with GJ.Some of the greatest times I have had at AG.

Just want to wish him all the best for future a top lad who gave 100% he will be missed. That's because he's been told he won't be offered a new contract. Same applies to Fontaine. I really fail to understand this gushing love in with players. They come and go just as managers do. The one constant thing is us fans.

Not really sure what the problem is with showing a bit of respect to two players who've amassed over 500 games (at a guess) for our club between them? Nobodies requesting statues of them to be erected in the car par park

samo II
Not really sure what the problem is with showing a bit of respect to two players who've amassed over 500 games (at a guess) for our club between them? Nobodies requesting statues of them to be erected in the car par park Quite. Both were big figures in the last era in which we saw anything resembling success at this club; Fontaine being part of the promotion team under GJ, and both helping us to a playoff final. Plus, back early this year when the team was still low on confidence and struggling to get its act together Marv was one of the few who was giving us everything he could, like he always did. Nothing wrong with thanking Fonts and Marv for their service.

Both Fontaine and Marv are not in Cotterills plans. It's that simple. In fact Fontaine wasn't in SoDs plans either.

chipdawg
Very few players are deserving of fans respect IMO. No wonder so many modern players don't seen to care about their clubs if fans won't even give them a 'thanks for your efforts' after 7 or 8 years of service

Robbored
Why? I could count on two hands the number of players that deserve respect from me. Bear in mind Im 59 years old and have been following City since I was 12. John Atyeo was the first and Jon Stead was the last. Shaun Taylor and Brian Tinnion are there as well.
