djb6162
As this Rollercoaster season thankfully comes to a pleasing end where do you think we'll finish next season? Realistic answers please If Rotherham and P'boro don't go up they'll be my 1+2. So I reckon we'll finish 3rd-7th. The teams coming down don't worry me its the teams that might not go up in the Play Offs Last 10 matches (overall) based on that why can we carry that on next year ? Aizoon
last time i checked Cotts had a 3 year deal so I pretty sure he'll be manager next season How long have you been a City supporter? How many managers have lasted out their full contract?
Aizoon
I reckon top half of the table, and possibly sneaking into the pray-offs. Not that that ever does us any good
AlwaysARed
Keep all of our better players, sign Nosworthy, W.Elliott and Moore plus add a few decent signings and I would have us finishing 5th. However, ANYTHING could happen during the summer, one thing is for sure where city are concerned, always expect the unexpected.

redsince1994
Current squad plus some more shrewd coterill signings over the summer? I see no reason why we shouldn't be challenging the top 2. However its all speculation as we have no idea whats gonna happen to the squad. A lots rests on sammy staying IMO.
IdliketoRogerMoore
Well do the unprecedented quadruple league, league cup, f.a cup and the big one paint tin trophy!!!!! But just miss out on the Anglo Italian cup!!!
Robin1988
Agree - if you don't start a season aiming to win it, why bother Good news, but that's not what the thread's asking...
Davros
Realisticly t here is no reason we can't finish anywhere. I'm going to put my neck out and say "**** it we're going to win the league".1st! i like the cut your jib young man.

Harry
Teams coming down - Yeovil (smaller budget), Barnsley (similar budget), hopefully Blackpool (smaller budget). We will have a bigger budget than all clubs coming up. Similar budget to Peterborough. Smaller than Sheff U. Based on that we should be in the Top 2. All depends how wisely we use our budget. LondonBristolian
Really our form under SC puts us top six and I think we've got to be disappointed if we don't finish in the play-offs. I think, if they keep their players, Sheffield United will be the team to beat next year. I don't think Yeovil, Barnsley, Doncaster or Blackpool will be outstanding in this division but any one of Charlton, Millwall or Birmingham would be strong if they came down. I don't see Orient having as good a season again but whichever of the other three play-off teams will be strong but - once you take away Sheff United, two play-off teams and one relegated team, I reckon we've proved in recent months we're as good as anyone. redfred
This season bares the hallmark of GJ's first season in charge, when a talented squad languished near the bottom and after a change of manager eventually pushed on up the league to finish the season well. Promotion followed the following season with a few tweaks to the squad and I think the same will happen next season, so it's top two for me. Ben4BCFC
If we keep the current squad (with additions of Nosworthy/Elliott on permanent deals) and another signing or two (Freeman for one), then I think we stand a solid chance of Play Offs. If we lose some of our better performers this year though, I can see it being a scrappy mid-table one I'm afraid.
Ben4BCFC
Did everyone on here not attend the last 2 games? Irrespective of being safe! Mid table again. You say that, but based on our form from the last 30 games (almost two thirds of the season) we're 7th. Every team is gonna have the odd performance that isn't flawless, but the last two games? Really? A 0-0 and a 3-1 away win? If we pick up 4 points every two games you really think we'll finish mid-table?

foghornred
It would be nice to have a season where we are challenging at the top of the table but its a rebuild in the summer with 6 loan players and with JET & Baldock attracting interest we could have a totally new team next season so nobody knows !
