New Dazzler
I always thought that David Rogers looked like Desperate Dan though I feel that it's unfair to call him a cart horse. He played a lot of games for City in the old first division against some good centre forwards. Would definitely agree with that - Dave Rogers was CB alongside Norman Hunter for most games in our best season in modern times (1978-79) and although slightly(!) ungainly, not much got behind these 2 without knowing about it. Would probably not get away with it now, but back in the day he was up against the likes of Joe Jordan, Man U's Stuart Pearson etc, Ipswich's Paul Mariner etc (not speedy forwards of the current prem). and did a great job, also chipped in with a few set piece goals.
