I just clicked on the article 22A has linked above and see he really doesn't like the number 17. At his other club Cagliari he had all the number 17 seats removed and replaced with 16b. He is said to be horrified if a fixture is due to be played on the 17th. No player is allowed to have the number 17 shirt. He also has an aversion to purple too which he believes to be unlucky, no purple, lilac or mauve kits for Leeds.
