Stan Bowles Playing for QPR End of the 70's early 80's. He was good, bit like our Jackki in many ways, but also VERY unpopular. He had a nasty injury, transpired broken his leg. Being carried off by the old first aid men when right in front of what used to be the enclosure ( Now the Williams ) they dropped him, he rolled off the stetcher and hit the ground !! Did he holler !! QPR if i remember right were incensed, but those of us watching him roll off the stretcher had a right laugh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WestburyRed Posted November 23, 2003 Report Share Posted November 23, 2003 Back in 96/97 I think, guy trots off to get a coffee in the Atyeo whilst the match is in progress, comes back out and a ball flys over the crossbar and smacks straight into his hand and sends the hot coffee everywhere.
