'Orns
Bit of a trek for work for me each day, so I've just started listening to various podcasts on the way home so I don't have to listen to Durham & Gough! Got some history and NFL ones that I subscribe too, does anyone know of a good League 1, or Football League in general podcast? Loads about PL, but not got a great deal of interest in that, it's rammed down my throat enough! Also take any recommendations for cricket, rugby, history, conspiracy theories, comedy etc outside of the big ones that we all know gratefully received

TinMan's left peg
Subscribed to the World Cup version of this, does it revert to 'normal' football at some point, and if so will it cover L1? Thanks for these, enjoy catching up with world football, and always up for a bit of science! Football weekly is a brilliant podcast, not much attention on teams below the championship but it has really good coverage of Spanish, German, French and Italian leagues. James Richardson and Barry Glendenning are legends For science try the infinite monkey cage and I also like the life scientific podcast too. Who Are Rovers?
BBC 606 is superb when the season starts. Also, I am a fan of cricket, so test match special is good, listening to Boycott's and Aggers reviews after play, it is interesting.

You could install any podcast manager and paste in the RSS feed. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/what-is-the-best-podcast-manager-for-windows/ You can access most podcasts through itunes. If you register with Yahoo you could try this over the web. http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio/wf/rss.xml

All I want to do is to be able to listen to the radio online. I can get Somerset cricket commentary online (via BBC), but not Radio Bristol when City are broadcast nor Radio 5. Portland Bill
Guardian Football Weeklyhttp://www.theguardian.com/football/series/footballweeklyI second this, great podcast with some good humour. There is a football league podcast,it tends to change it's name each season, best to do a search for it. Edit,fl72 was one of them last season,I think there is two FL podcasts. Think that is to do with licenses, can't broadcast a live game as other people have paid good money for it, I guess
PHILINFRANCE
Think that is to do with licenses, can't broadcast a live game as other people have paid good money for it, I guess That would explain it, although I just don't understand why I can pick it up on the radio but not online. Re. 'good money', the only alternative is live streaming, which makes no difference on a pc (although no Radio Bristol commentary).

Sssssshhhhhhh, I don't think they've cottoned on to the fact everyone streams the games for nothing anyway.....!!
