Mahatma Coate
Just seen aninterview of the new owner of Reading. She has no interest in football, plus the crazy man at Leeds, how do these people pass the test? For real comedy value and a whole lot of sadness and bitterness have a look at what's been going on at Salisbury since the end of last season. Apocryphally all you need to take ownership of a Conference Club is an e-mail address. I did post on here a while back about their plight and the fans' forum is at: http://www.salisburycitysupporters.co.uk/whitesonline.html The thing is, you can be 'fit and proper' and have no interest in football and do a good job running the club well, or you can be a clown. The first is fine, I know people who own and run businesses they have acquired but have little affinity with other than they run them well and profitably. Football is no different really, in fact football could do with a serious injection of business discipline.
