Cotham Brow Red Posted August 29, 2014 Report Share Posted August 29, 2014 To be honest if I was a Brighton fan I would be distinctly underwhelmed, a team allegedly gunning for the big time and the best they could do (after receiving big money for 2 players) is a striker from league 1 with no real pedigree in the championship and we have signed a player from the championship who has a pedigree in the league we are actually in. Totally agree. Blige if I were a Brighton id be thinking "why are we getting proven L1 players when were supposedly going for promotion into top tier". It is amazing to think its not long past we were in a position to think "Baldock...Ooo..not exactly going for it" Times change. Horses for courses and all rhat. Saying that SammyB saved us last season no question, got no beef with his move, he's gone up and best of luck to him.
