EDoubleD
Saw he got subbed for burns today. Injury? Big loss if it is. No natural replacement unless wynter steps up.
formerly known as ivan
Hamstring. Seriousness of it not yet known. We battled on without him today and just about got the job done but didn't like the look of things without him.
Red-Robbo
Hamstring. Seriousness of it not yet known. We battled on without him today and just about got the job done but didn't like the look of things without him. Whilst Pack is not the player Smith is, we looked more composed when he came on. It allowed us again to release Bryan and Little for dangerous runs.
Loco Rojo
This is a big concern and has largely gone unmentioned in here today. Fingers crossed its not too serious. Not sure out midfield would cope without him for a long period.

Bristol_Badger
He is our most important player. I'm eagerly awaiting the outcome of his injury.
formerly known as ivan
Was surprised to see him play the full 90 against Cheltenham as he hasnt had a rest all season and runs himself into the ground every game. I said after the walsall match how he dropped to the floor at the final whistle and looked out on his feet. Hopefully not long term but definitely not an injury we would want to push so needs to be 100%.
Red-Robbo
How can you compare Smith with Pack Assuming that was addressed at my comment, I'm not. Smith, as I said, is a much better player. However when Korey was injured, I would have preferred to see Pack brought on to do a similar role rather than what we did do, which negated the advantage of our wing backs. formerly known as ivan
Having not seen every player yet this season so best on what we have seen, who would say he is the best midfielder in the league? There isn't a weakness to his game. Why he is in this league I dont know but thank god he is and with us!
AshtonGreat
One caller on Radio Bristol was slating Korey Smith this evening, basically saying he doesn't do anything.
The Gasbuster
One caller on Radio Bristol was slating Korey Smith this evening, basically saying he doesn't do anything. Well he / she clearly knows nothing about football.

That was a great call. Saying how we don't use him to his full potential...mind boggles sometimes. Hope it's nothing serious - been our unsung hero. HoldenBall
One caller on Radio Bristol was slating Korey Smith this evening, basically saying he doesn't do anything. These are the type of people who say Sergio Busquests or Makelele doesn't/didn't do anything for their teams. We are going to miss him badly when he's out injured. OldlandReddies
If its a hamstring then we are likely to be without him for a couple of weeks. If so then Cotts will probably go with his 3-4-4 formation which could mean a start for JET alongside Agard and Wilbs with Freeman and Wader the central pairing. Works for me. You can please some of the people some of the but its impossible to please someone who clearly understands nothing about football. Speedy recovery to Korey who so far is our player of the season. AshtonGreat
Probably watches the radio rather than go to the games! Haha yeah. But listen to Radio Bristol and you'd think none of the players did anything, such are the length of the silences between passages of play. aa_bcfc
One caller on Radio Bristol was slating Korey Smith this evening, basically saying he doesn't do anything. To be honest he was saying that perhaps we are not getting the most of Smith in the holding role and that we might get more from him in a Cheltemhan type role. I'm pretty sure he was not critisizing him as the holding midfielder.
BrizzleRed
I must have misheard Ian on RB, because I thought he said Korey is a great player, but we usually play him too deep, so don't make the best of his attacking ability.

Cotham Brow Red
Was very different when he was subbed. Wes was a tad out of depth in the whole until he went central anyhow. Hope the hammy ain't too bad. Big loss.

That's exactly what was said and Twentypence completely twisted his words around the bitter gas barsteward. It was a perfectly valid point.
