This time last season I was at Ironmould Lane, along with about 1,000 City fans to see Brislington vs Welling.

Incidentally this was the same day that City got first win of the season away at Carlisle (4-2 JET hat-trick)

League Table before Carlisle win;

What a difference a year makes!

Surely it's Dorchester v The Sags live on Sky as the tie of the round?

At least 5000 (with at least "the majority" being Sheeds intent on causing trouble) away supporters all out enjoying a weekend down Weymouth.

What a massive scalp it would be.....for the Sags to beat a team like Dorchester (obviously the Real Madrid of Dorset considering that Rovers are the Barcelona of the West Country).

Real "clash of the titans" stuff!

Funnily enough, on the Rovers forum a fan did suggest the game could be rearranged, as it was clearly the tie of the round and might well be televised.

Older and wiser heads had to point out that there is no televised tie of the round...in the 4th q round.

You just knew that one of their deluded bunch would say it.... Good job the reality of the situation dawned when the Sag found out that no one gives a damn about pre-qualifying.

Another result would be for Dorchester to win the game so that Rovers can do the double of failing to qualify for the league cup 1st round in 2002 followed by failure to qualify for the FA Cup in 2014 and we can all have another massive laugh at the joke non league outfit.

Haven't you seen where they are in the Bananarama lately?

They are all crawling back out from under their stones now.....Faithful and true, and they've all made a promise etc etc etc yawn.

To be fair to them, they are flying at the minute, all I've heard about is what a great start Barnet have had, but I think the G*s are only 2 or 3 points behind?

"Obviously based on limited (southern ) experience but I reckon Dorchester vies with FGR as having the best stadium outside the league".

So Rovers' FA cup game there will be a pleasant treat for the players & fans alike then?

Until the final whistle sounds!

ROVERS IN THE QUALIFYING ROUND

To the tune of Klingons on the Starboard Bow?

It's football, Jim, but not as we know it, not as we know it, not as we know it (repeat until chorus)

I like this, most of the song suggestions on here are either too complicated for the most of the crowd or just rip offs of other teams songs. It would be nice if we could swing it around to lyric that was positive about our team instead of being negative about a failing Non-League one.

Unbelievable that this was only a year ago. And christ look at Orient and Peterborough in that table. That should be a cautionary tale to us not to get carried away.
