RedJim
Did you mean to include Borini in there? Fair point, but we had a pretty solid defense and some Prem regulars in midfield. I think Borini is a decent player but yeah, he hasn't really done a lot at Liverpool. Pearce should have got better results at that tournament but I'm not convinced by the quality of a lot of the English U21s in that side. I think there's similar weaknesses there to the senior side - players like Shelvey aren't good enough at keeping the ball and too impetuous/headless chicken-like. Manon
No don't rate him. Not sure what it is about him, but I never see him as a proper manager for some reason.
SimonR
Bit like Paul Ince or Keegan, never able to handle it when the Wheels come off. Who can forget Keegan having a breakdown live on air when Newcastle blew the title race and Fergie's United won it again.
Cider red
No. Has a quality squad at forest, started well but they are massively under achieving at the moment. He will be gone in January if not before.
Taylor10
Awful manager. Does things to try and make it look as though he's his own man with own ideas. This is the bloke who actually had a plan to play David James up front, even printed him a shirt!! I still don't get how more hasn't been made of that. I wouldn't expect a Sunday league manager to try things like that.
brady bunch
Awful manager, great player (like so many), loved watching him for England. Could not take him too seriously as a Manager after he rather meanly overlooked giving Sir Beck's a role in the London Olympics footy team, after all the bloke had done to get us the flipping games in the first place. Aizoon
To be honest, all the pro-Cotterill propaganda here made me think he'd be like Stuart Pearce. Thank God he isn't.
