chipdawg
Been sent off today meaning swindon will be without their captain on Saturday. More advantage to us me thinks If it's appealed will he be able to play?
ciderbeans
Not sure tbh. I know if they appeal, any ban gets delayed but there is a game midweek that may cover that delay and his ban would start with us.
Rocky
They have no midweek game, if they appeal he might play next weekend. If they don't appeal then he's out of our game.
leylandsroad
My mate is part of the first team at swindon and he also reckons there two best midfielders are on international duty next week, they played there first team today he said their squad is tiny
Ray White
Luongo is definitely missing, not sure about Kassim. Good news for us as Luongo is a goal threat from midfield for them.
BS15_RED
Just read that the red card was for a professional foul, he was the last man. Doesn't sound like there's much scope for an appeal to me.
leylandsroad
I'm pretty certain their other centre back was booked today so he will be suspended next week as well, I know he was on 4 bookings, they could have 4 regulars out next week, they took the other centre half off so he wouldn't get booked. They like us play 3.5.

!james
Isn't it 3 game ban for straight red? Swindon have appealed it already. Likely to be 4 game ban as it's his 3rd red card of the season
The Casual Connoisseur
A 5 goal thumping against a lower league team, key players out, city unbeaten in the league, a sold out away end with plenty of City fans in home areas, guaranteed we will lose! bcdc
Final Score recorded the sending off brilliantly this afternoon. In the 'Teleprinter' bit at the bottom of the screen where the scores etc come in, the FA Cup comes up as FAC and a sending off is recorded as OFF, so the screen read: FAC OFF NATHAN THOMPSON, SWINDON. Couldn't have put it better! I would put a photo if it up if only I knew how to do it
cityexile
Looks like Thompson, Luongo and Kasim out for them next week. 4 sendings off in 19 games for Thompson. Still expecting a tight game, but every little helps!

GrahamC
He was dirty in the game at AG last season, if their appeal is successful then I wouldn't be surprised if he got sent off again next week.

Stoke_Gifford_Red
Having watched the highlights from the game I wouldn't be surprised if he gets punished for more than just the initial foul. He threw the captains armband down, kicked a water bottle that was placed in front of the 4th official and then kicked/shook the little pop out plastic tunnel! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/29974906

I don't think that Swindon have a chance of the sending off being overturned. It was deserved. Whether or not he plays against us, he's going to miss at least three matches before Christmas plus one more for his hissy-fit and possibly, plus yet another for his repeated sendings off this season. ciderup
This soooooo points to the end of our unbeaten run fellas. It's all set for a big away win but we're Bristol City and don't do the 'normal'. About time we won up there though!
