dezgimed
They've lost their last 3 league games in a row so will be after their own sort of backlash. Important game this.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
I've got a good feeling about this game. Their confidence must have taken a bit of a battering after losing 3 on the bounce. I don't think it's going to be easy but I reckon we can win this 2-0. ChippenhamRed
Despite everything that happened at the weekend, I'm actually more confident about the Preston game than I was before. A full house, City players with renewed determination following the injustice of Swindon, and Preston on a bad run. I expect us to win.
BRISTOL86
Massive game. Losing two on the bounce would be a strange and uncomfortable feeling and Preston will be looking to arrest their own decline in fortunes.
Slack Bladder
I'm sure I'm going to regret this, but I have a lot of time for Preston. I've watched some good games against them and their fans seem to be, in general, a decent bunch. I remember being at Preston when we got promoted and their fans stayed behind to applaud and we returned the favour a few years later when they were promoted. All said and done, I hope they feel the backlash from the Swindon match and we get the 3 points. But I would be more than happy for them to finish 2nd to us come May. ten minutes of rough
I am worried about this one , Preston have been losing for fun of late, they have been touted as the best team in the league, hopefully we can create our own backlash, but they will be cracking the whip too. Think we need to add something else in the mix to break them down, would like to see JET from the off.
HoldenBall
Rather we were playing Crewe at home if I'm being honest.. can you imagine if we lose against Preston? This place would burn down

Guest
Wonder how their fans have reacted after 7 or 8 straight wins and then 3 straight losses, if it were us we would probably have a thread dedicated to STs for sale.
Red-Robbo
With the strong possibility of not having Elliott, this is going to be a tough one. Those of us who were at the Wimbledon game would've observed how crucial Wade is to winning the midfield battle. We won the game, sure, bit the Wombles had possession of the centre of the park. In terms of team morale, I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the lads will be 100% up for this and 100% dedicated to starting a new unbeaten run. That's the Cotterill effect, and that's the sort of team spirit we have here.
spudski
Can see Waggy and Pack starting for this game over Little and Elliot. Unfortunately I can't make this game as abroad, but hope the fans really get behind the team for 90 mins...and the players play with passion but cool calculated heads. Added to which Preston have Garner who will go down at the slightest touch so we need to be 'up for it' but careful around him!

miketh2nd
As good Elliot is and obviously want his red card rescinded, I'd be interested to see how pack would do as his replacement to keep Elliot on his toes .
