T R
Do you any of you remember this player? If so could you tell me what he was like. How many games did he play for us and did he score many goals etc etc. He is just one of those players that I cannot remember playing on the field at the time. Only asking because I found this article a couple of years ago but I never got around to looking into any details of it.http://www.geos.ed.ac.uk/homes/s0094539/Dad.html

cidered abroad
Played in the promotion team a few times but I cannot remember him ever appearing in the First Division for City. Article dated 2007, I know that Les Bardsley died in 2012 aged 86.

Miah Dennehy
I remember him, seem to recall he played for Grimsby as well. I can't remember Rovers players from last season but I do remember loads of players from back then , most likely from collecting stickers and endless break times sifting through swaps saying , got, got,got ,got havent got! dandare 1966
Was unlucky not to play more but had a great team at that time and played most his football from the bench but not a bad player

bristolcitysweden
All I remember is that he was sat to the left on the bench when one of the annual team photos were taken. Looks like in Slartibartfast descripion

joe bryans right foot
Good in rainy conditions seriously though I think he was in our team at the start of the 76 promotion seasonHe may have lost his place to Clive Whitehead as the season went on. Bangkok Red
Brolly was a decent player - very hard working - but not quite good enough at that time to nail down a regular first team place.
Esmond Million's Bung
Brolly was a decent player - very hard working - but not quite good enough at that time to nail down a regular first team place. He was a very much a very poor mans Clive Whitehead, on the books just in case Clive got injured.
oldstandrobin
Remember Micky Brolly, one of those players who came, played a bit and went. Half decent player but never a regular in the team.
ashton_fan
I remember watching him. Signed from Grimsby in 74/75 season, a slightly built fairly quick winger. That season he made 13 appearances (+2 as sub) and scored 1 goal (Oldham(H)). The following season (our promotion year) he played 14(1) and again scored 1 goal (Sunderland H). Does not figure after that so I imagine AD thought he wasn't good enough for the top division.
ashton_fan
Just remembered he joined us from Chelsea (made 8 appearances for them), went to Grimsby after us.
Mahatma Coate
Made more appearances than Joe Durrell. Funnily enough, I ended up thinking about the two of them too. I liked both of them but neither quite made it for us. I think Joe had the disappointment of never scoring a first team goal but had one disallowed in a Boxing Day fixture (2-2 draw with Plymouth if memory serves).
