Not sure how we can be happy about losing. Our 'weaker' side, if that is what we put out is still a variation on our strongest side, so a defeat in any competetion is bound to be disappointing as it reflect on our overall form.

A win would be good, defeat slightly worse

But for heavens sake, please only post verse.

I think it would be bad to lose to a team in the same division, because it could affect the morale for few games which could affect league results and so on.

However, getting through another round and losing to team in higher division may not be as bad because it will be the "Wev got nothing to lose" scenario

Be interesting what team Cotts puts out but with Wilbs, Agard and Smith potentially out it could see quite an exciting 'strikerless' team with Freeman supporting JET

People saying we don't need the win due to fixture pile up. We are due to play donny 24th jan, which is 4th round day so we are going to have to rearrange that game. May as well go for win today play on 24th and hope we get a good draw.

Agreed. Win or lose today we still don't have a league match on 24 Jan.

So win today, maybe get a big club away and lose then but with some cash.

Chippenham Red and Aizoon are living dangerously by writing new songs, so I'll make a couple of safe predictions:

1) Neither song will be sung at the match

2) City will wear the purple and boiled cabbage green kit.

Have you not spotted the theme running through the thread?

We're not writing new songs, it's just things that we've said.
