League One - Deadline Day

NOT a league 1 transfer, but worthy of note. A Real Madrid youth player has been loaned to Accrington!

How did Accrington persuade Real to loan the kid to them?

How was the player persuaded to move from Real to Accrington?

When was the last time Accrington signed a player from Real Madrid (or vice versa)?

They didn't sign him on loan.

He turned down a contract, went to Liverpool, didn't play, eventually released and worked his way down the leagues. Unfortunately no where near as exciting as you suggest.

I was going by the rolling script on SSN which read "Accrington sign Real Madrid player ........ on youth loan".

As soon as Real Madrid find out that the Stanley have a group of Ultra's behind the goal he will be called back!!

What happened to the morons at the grounds on deadline day on SSN?!

They've moved the reporters so that they're inside the stadiums or training grounds, to avoid said morons getting on camera.

Bit of a shame really, one of the highlights of this otherwise tedious occasion was always seeing which club had the biggest collection of braindeads gathering outside. Stoke usually ran out as winners.
