Williams E Block

Have read the previous topic on last nights atmosphere and agree it wasnt great, but there is one thing that bugs me..

Who is the guy who constantly shouts pointless abuse at players (from both sides) in the E block?..

Last week all he could do was slag off Bristol Sport and made a point of telling everyone he doesnt like rugby or basketball.

The guy is just simply annoying and when its quiet all he does is scream his head off, just sounds like the town drunk.

Last night people were clearly trying to start songs just to shut him up, and then when the songs didnt exactly catch on he would just laugh and shout about it.

Sorry, but we shouldnt have to put up with it, just gives you a headache to be honest, fair play if youre gonna stand there and start songs but some of the stuff he comes out with is ridiculous and pathetic.

I love starting the songs off but seriously thinking about moving to another block because of this imbicile.

The joys of the singing section I guess.

Perhaps we need a choir and conductor section as well ....

When I was younger was always an Eastender and loved the singing , banter etc but nowadays I am quite happy to turn up watch the match but I do enjoying hearing the roar and will join in when the boys need something to get them going.

I read another post earlier that said why don't all the singers sit together but not wanting to state the obvious we all know where they are/sit/stand and If you wanted to be one of them then you should of bought your ticket in that section of the ground.

Bringing my ear defenders saturday.. Dont want to make it to obvious

Are you serious or have I missed the irony?

Also have you missed stickers and characters in the East end for the last 7 years?

Should everybody wear replica shirts and only sing "come on you reds"?

Maybe I'm getting the wrong bloke but if it's the one I'm thinking of he's certainly approachable and often pretty funny.

Thought his critique of BS branding strategy and commercialisation of Bristol City's core identity assets to the tune of Nellie the Elephant was bang on personally.

Was no possible this season. Only very limited capacity in Block E Williams meant only about half of relocating season ticket holders from the EE could go there, let alone fans from elsewhere!

I stand corrected then S_G_R I thought all season ticket holders who wanted too could relocate to E Williams, perhaps WEQ should think himself lucky then he at least got in there

S_G_R I do not stand corrected as posted earlier as I have just gone to buy my Gillingham and Barnsley tickets and tickets are available to buy in the singing section
