There are a maximum of 1656 points available in a season if every game resulted in a win. There have been 96 draws this season so means only 1560 points available. Take off the amount that the bottom three clubs have already taken out of that total: (34 + 34 + 30 = 98) 1560 - 98 = 1462 Which means that there aren't enough remaining points for everyone to finish above us (without even taking into account actual fixtures). I much prefer worrying about whether we'll get automatic promotion instead of worrying about getting relegated. Last season taught me not to take survival in the division for granted.
