One Team
Regarding the pitch, the groundsmen watered most of the pitch at half time but flooded the final third of our half resulting in much derision from our fans. Quote Link to comment
OldlandReddies
But Ian (BristolBoy) who phones in after every bloody game said it was the worst away peformance of the season and Orient were the best attacking side he's seen this season. He must be right, he always is (in his head). He is a wannabe reporter me thinks. Quote Link to comment
Northern Red
He is a wannabe manager me thinks. Edited for accuracy. Quote Link to comment
RumRed
Dont like this watering thing seems to be happening more often, sure it was crawley last season that did the same. Quote Link to comment

BS4 on Tour...
We've scored 18 goals in our last 8 away games....dreamland! Don't wanna tempt fate but this is looking very promising! (Deliberate understatement cos I can't quite believe it!) Quote Link to comment
42nite
SC: "They didn't even shake our hands at the end. And they watered the pitch all over the end we were defending in the second half." Probably trying to get the game abandoned! Cheating bar stewards! 1 Quote Link to comment
Pickle Rick
Anyone know the attendance and how many fans we had there? Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Os fans not impressed by the watering either. http://leytonorientforum.co.uk/topic8474.html Edited March 3, 2015 by cityexile Quote Link to comment
Chivs
But Ian (BristolBoy) who phones in after every bloody game said it was the worst away peformance of the season and Orient were the best attacking side he's seen this season. He must be right, he always is (in his head). I can't really make a comparison like BristolToddler only having gone to 2 away games. But if that is our worst away performance then it might explain why we are top.... Orient weren't the best attacking side tonight. But, as you say, who are we to disagree with Ian. Paxton
Currently on hols, so had to make do with intermittent text alerts whenever I got signal (which gave me the impression it was 1-1). Can't describe just how happy I was when I got back to my room and suddenly received a load of notifications with both the final score and the Swindle and MK Dons results. COYR! Quote Link to comment
NiceRed
They watered both ends at ht, though the end we were defending 2nd half was watered a lot more and was basically waterlogged at the start of the 2nd half. Not sure why they did this. Orient played some decent football at times so it probably didn't help them. Quote Link to comment
Red Ferret
Orient looked alright actually. They could play a bit when they wanted to. Freeman was a different class though. A joy to watch. Good noise from the City fans too. Redzzz Quote Link to comment
Ben_86UK
Why do some people, no matter how well we are doing moan about every pass, every ambitious movement? The guy behind me said in the run up to the first we are shit, he's a *****. We're top the league why do some Peoria have to be so negative? Quote Link to comment
SoliCyder
Late to the party but what a smashing evening of results, well done boys. Quote Link to comment

Clarky89
Last night was defining. We seem to have started taking such big away wins for granted. 3 goals away from home, AGAIN!! Less than three weeks from Wembley, genuine title contenders, new stadium. Crikey. Quote Link to comment

He was a pain on here as he couldn't take an opinion different to his own. And god knows what game he is at sometimes, one in his head I think. Quote Link to comment

Dunc
Frankie and Freeman rightly getting plaudits as both were top drawer. Also want to mention how good Pack was in the air last night. Might seem like the basics but don't think he lost a header and it helped keep us on the front foot. A couple of nervy moments at the end when we switched off a bit. Would have liked to have seen subs a little earlier but overall class performance and atmosphere! Quote Link to comment
slartibartfast
No word of a lie, I was outside having a smoke when we scored. How the **** did you get outside for a fag? I had to go in the bog, like a naughty school boy ! Quote Link to comment
Bristol Rob
How the **** did you get outside for a fag? I had to go in the bog, like a naughty school boy ! Not being at the game probably helped. That, and not being under house arrest. 2 Quote Link to comment
