Redarmy987
Am I right in thinking even if we win the league early we won't have presentation until last day of season?
Lrrr
If true, beating them at Wembley and then being awarded the league trophy at Walsall.... they may not like us much after
Aizoon
Am I right in thinking even if we win the league early we won't have presentation until last day of season? Not sure about that. I think they like to present it for the first home game after a club wins it (obviously not if it's won on the last day). As a City fan for 60 years, I have no personal experience of this, mind... BristolBEAT
Am I right in thinking even if we win the league early we won't have presentation until last day of season? True. Walsall are going to despise us. Stop lifting trophies against us. Two in the space of a month.

Running Man
We have to beat them first! The cup is no fore gone conclusion... Pretty relaxed about it, I see it as a day out and hopefully a win, getting promoted as Champions is what it is all about for me.

Portland Bill
If we win the league, ticket or no ticket I will get in the ground somehow, most have us have waited decades to see us presented with a champions trophy.

Particularly funny because they have only won two trophies in their entire history. their fans will have seen us lift more trophies than them! Nick Wilde
How good would it be to have everyone on the pitch last game of the season, with the team, the management, the board in the williams stand making thier speeches whilst holding 2 trophies. ChippenhamRed
So can anyone actually answer the original question? I'm interested in the answer because it's a tricky one for us non-STH. I can't afford to go to every game but I don't want to miss out on the trophy presentation (assuming we win it) so it would be very useful to know! cidered abroad
Youre asking the wrong fanbase! Anyone remember what happened in 1955? It was presented at the last home league game v Newport County. Two away games followed. I think we won the title by winning the previous away match. 22A
60 years. Phew. So what trophies have we got in our cabinet ? Nothing rude please. 1965 (50 years ago) City won Division 2 of the Football Combination (Reserve's league). City were presented with that trophy and (it was reported in the EP a few years ago), the club still have it as the two divisions were merged that Summer and the League never asked for the trophy to be returned.
