glastonred
I feel really sorry for Waggy. Whenever he played for us in previous seasons he always gave his all. Now, through no fault of his own, he finds himself perpetually in the dugout with only the forlorn prospect of the odd few minutes tacked on to a game we're no doubt winning. Is there any reason why he should want to stay? Not sure what his contract situation is, but some lucky team is going to benefit from his pace and energy. B-Rizzle
Think it might have been three years which means he's still got one to go. Not a bad player, like Osbourne been a bit unlucky not to have featured more this season. Especially as he's produced whenever he has got game time this season. Coxy27
Can't really demand the manager changes the team when we're doing so well, and have done all season. He's done alright given the chance, but so has everyone else. If he was getting playing time, there'd be a thread labelled 'Little' or someone else who was not playing in his place. I assume you're joking? He isn't exactly pacey. I know City fans love a trier but honestly don't see how anyone can be bothered by Waggy's lack of game time with everything else going on. MichaelRobartes
Not a fan of Wagstaff, doesn't do much at all for me. In fairness he was playing in a crap team for most of last season.

Just because he runs around a lot he should be in the side.... Seriously there is no way Waggy can fit into this side. Amazed some are so hung up on it. reddogkev
I bet even players not involved are still loving every minute of this season. They all know about the size / quality of squads in the modern game and the intense demand to grab a starting position.

Northern Red
He'd be a nailed on starter in 90% of the other teams in the division.
Carey 6
Good infront of goal when he gets a chance, works hard, just not a right wing back or a centre mid, so its hard to get him in the side.
Super
Always rated the guy and has never let us down, sadly for him the formation we play means there is no room for him.

Red-Robbo
Because Tavernier is a much better RWB. I don't know if we've seen anything to support that. No point criticising the manager's selections though. Not with how the team is performing.
BRISTOL86
Because Tavernier is a much better RWB. Really? I've been really disappointed with Tavernier. His positioning is awful in that role.
Major Isewater
At first sight i thought the thread was "whiter Scott Wagstaff" like he'd been showering in Persil . He's a good player ,great attitude ,as others have said a bit un lucky . Hope he gets on at Wembley and scores a goal .

I'd still have Tavernier there over Wagstaff who has twice been at fault for goals coming off the bench in that position.
