ZiderEyed
Seen as Aden has 10 this season, it got me wondering which centre-backs in living memory have got past 10, and who the top scoring ones are. There is probably some Malaysian 57 year old with 30 in one season, but will be interested to know who can be recalled. Can't think of many myself, but remember Skrtel last season. Martin Skrtel -
Fordy62
I remember Shaun Taylor used to get a few. Possibly not this many though?

TRL
Marco Materazzi and Tulio Tanaka Had/have good goal scoring records from centre back. Dunno their precise goals to game ratio though.

BobBobSuperBob
Not sure Elliot matches it either ........27 in 239 for Leicester and his career averages out at a goal every 9 or so games Can't find his season by season stats but suggests he will have done well to hit double figures in any one season Blimey just found out Shaun Taylor scored 13 !!! For Swindle during their year in the Premiership in 92/93 Blimey...... That's a feat for a non penalty taking centre half !!!!! Warrior Flinty still the man ......... Because he's doing it for US

BobBobSuperBob
Was def in their premier league season Kid - incredible tally and shocked me Best I can come up with Ronald Koeman - 237 goals (736 matches) Not bad for a centre half but he did take pens and free kick specialist but even so 1 every 3 and a bit games through your career But A) he's Dutch B) he doesn't have great sleeve tattoos C) responsible for the damage to my own TV in 1993 So we won't count him . Port Said Red
How many did "Boom Boom" score for us in our promotion season? Also seem to remember that Roger Johnson had a good season for C*rdiff including a couple against us...... Actually ignore me, just looked them up myself and neither were prolific, it's weird I seem to remember McCombe scoring regularly for us. but he only scored 9 in 119 games. Guest
In all honesty Flint should have more. [/quote Bollocks. He's done extremely well and we'd be fools to expect this regularly. If he does it again next season someone will take a punt and he'll be in the division above.
