22A
Things to look forward to IF City reach the Championship? https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/leeds-united-rated-as-worst-behaved-fans-in-britain-by-official-findings-175914637.html Leeds United, Birmingham City and Manchester United have some of the worst behaved fans on railways in Britain, according to new information released by British Transport Police. Records show that Leeds United fans were involved in 77 incidents involving the law in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, with the most serious cases being four woundings and four involving Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) travelling to and from matches involving their clubs. There were 1,027 recorded incidents with Leeds causing nearly twice the amount of disturbances than any other club. Birmingham City (40 incidents), Manchester United (36), Nottingham Forest (35) and Manchester City (30) make up Britain's top five worst offenders. Across the border, fans of Glasgow Rangers also feature prominently in the tables released by the Police. View gallery .

54-46
Understandable re Man U - their fans prob use the trains much more than any others given how far they have to travel. And that's just to home games.
Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Going to be fun next year when the big boys are in town... Yeah but that's enough about Accrington and Bury visiting the Mem...I'm looking forward to the prospect of playing Leeds, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest amongst others. Phileas Fogg
I can't remember that many incidents since we've gone down. Fair few in our playoff season. Any stats from league 1?

Malago
What's the definition of "incident". I said a few choice bristolian/ bemmy words when they ran out of hot dogs at Brisbane Road and I was next in the queue, which counted as a very unfortunate "incident" in my book. ten minutes of rough
Pretty miniscule when you consider the hundreds of thousands that watch the clubs on that list. Not so minuscule if you are caught up with these louts I would guess. Besides any such behaviour is unacceptable unless of course you think it's all part of the football culture. YorkshireSection
The police in Leeds are notorious for nicking anyone for the most minor of things, as are South yorks police, Sheffield wed. As for Man U, makes sense as they have a large proportion of fans that travel from London everyweek on the train. Heddlu, won't Nick anyone whose Welsh, it's against the law! Portland Bill
Millwall don't travel. They do, but mostly when they know they will get a warm welcome!
Mad Cyril
Leeds fans are generally slime. Have wreaked havoc down the years everywhere from Bournemouth to the Bosphorus. Vermin pretty much to a man. Having two fans stabbed in Turkey might not really support an argument they are slime? Generally speaking it is usually the perpetrators who should be criticised rather than the victims. Where do you stand on Jimmy Savile out of interest? CotswoldRed
Is this a fair survey/investigation? London Clubs will probably make far less rail journeys as many clubs are within the capital (assuming underground excluded). Would be more helpful on the basis of incidents per journey made.
