Admin Maesknoll Red Posted April 5, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted April 5, 2015 Referee: Neil Swarbrick Asst: Scott Ledger Asst: Derek Eaton 4th Official: Graham Horwood I have totally lost touch of the referees and how they have been with us, does this guy ring any bells, good or bad? Could play a big part, as it isn't going to be a love-in.
BobBobSuperBob
Normally a prem ref , sent off wrong WBA player recently And he's from Preston
glynriley
Swarbrick was the ref who sent off McAuley instead of Dawson in the WBA v Man City game a few weeks ago. Dishes out more cards than funky pigeon.com.

And Its Smith
Less than four yellows a game. In this era I'd say that's fair enough. Lots of cynical professional fouls in the Prem.
redsquirrel
could work in our favour if he dishes them out for diving
Robbored
I'd go along with that. But its Swindon with all their theatrical dives and rolling on the floor, lets hope he sees through it like most supporters and pundits - they've been getting away with it all season with the referees. Yep.....but Swindle aren't used to a PL referees. Hopefully they'll carry on with their theatrical rolling around along with their dirty tricks and Swarbrick and his assistants will see throught it. In fairness didn't see a lot of that against MK, Thomsons yellow was deserved and the Ref let him off later, perhaps they stayed on their feet because they were chasing the game? ajam1212
I Just hope we keep our heads. Don't need to get dragged into a grudge match, you know for sure that the cheats will be trying every trick in the book to make us lose our self control. Payback is due for sure but let's not give them the satisfaction of thinking that playing them is any different to any other team in this division. Preston is a bigger game for us and we don't need any suspensions or niggly injuries from playing those cheats tuesday night. Hopefully Cotts will make this clear. Especially after watching mk dons not get suckered into there antics Saturday, they played the game the right way and eventually stuffed there antics up there ass 3 times.COYR the finish line is in sight now keep your heads and we will bring home the title. OH CITY WE LOVE YOU

coxyboy
Select group team as on sky and also is a big game. I have met Neil a couple of times and good bloke, he won't take any crap from the Swindle lot!
MarcusX
Jesus Christ, he loves his cards I was sure the commentators said he hadn't issued a red for 3 years or something silly, because they said it just before kick off and 30 seconds in came the red - I remember finding that amusing timing. foghornred
Lets hope that he books the Swindon players for simulation and not ours for fouls
OldlandReddies
Anyone know what price the bookies are offering for a sending off in this game ? I'd say it was odds-on !!!
redsquirrel
how about 'swarbrick swarbrick give us a wave' when the players come out, give him a cheer if he acknowledges, try and win the bloke over before kick off, easily changed to 'the referees a w$$ker' if it dont work during the game
