cider hoss rules
This is funny cos I was able to source a ticket for this bloke and phoned both the Mirror and the post on Friday last week to inform them and pass my details on. It was also mentioned on the radio Bristol match broadcast that the Supporters Club and Trust had sorted him a ticket. I guess the club decided it makes a better story that one of the players came to his rescue though. . . so can I have the original one you sourced then please? YorkshireSection
Nice touch from Bryan. The story is a bit misleading though. I'd hardly describe the chap as a City fanatic. No, you HAVE to have a season ticket to be a real fan!
RumRed
Blimey is this what it comes to when we're successful , same as shedman and his half season ticket. Jeez cheer up guys, stories like those are used to promote BCFC, something we should all want.
TheCulturalBomb
Pfft, not even a part-timer! Just going to call him 'a potential Bristol City admirer' or 'once every 50 years glory hunter'
Aizoon
Pfft, not even a part-timer! Just going to call him 'a potential Bristol City admirer' or 'once every 50 years glory hunter' Not a SUPERFAN then?
Drew Peacock
A feelgood, well done City thread ends up in whinging and bitching. Dear God.
TheCulturalBomb
Not a SUPERFAN then? He doesn't live in BS3, he doesn't have a season ticket, he doesn't attend away games, he doesn't sing at games, he can't name any players. I'm very much joking, super respect for the man and I hope he among everyone else enjoys a monumental day.
MarcusX
Bloody plastic fans coming over here taking OUR tickets. If he was a superfan who was at Bradford, on the other hand . . . Then he may well have still been travelling back the next morning and missed out on a ticket

Devizes Red
Nothing wrong with Hartnell's in the '70's. Simon Mann(BBC) was in Hartnell's. Don't think Jonathan Pearce or Hugo Weaving were though - Good days for watching City (other than the fog for Leeds!)

Jeez cheer up guys, stories like those are used to promote BCFC, something we should all want. To be fair it's a bit poor ignoring the fact that the SC&T stepped in to help too. I'm glad he was able to get a ticket though, that's the main thing.

Stephen Lewis
Can I just add to this thread that i'm in dire need of a lifetime season ticket and return air fares every two weeks from and to Melbourne airport. You might as well chuck in taxi fares as well seeing as we haven't build the airport rail link yet. Thank you
