Liverpool paid, what was it, 5 million for him a yr ago somebody else said? Seems longer than a year to me but even so just another illustration of stupid money being paid. If such a rumour were true and the sum being touted is 1 million one could compare it to Trundle... I thought that was a waste of money and i would probably take the same view of this. Until he got the goal against us in the LDV they used to give him pelters.
