Pickle Rick
Well I never! On the basis of today's game, looking a threat and shows good energy and pace.

Phileas Fogg
Done really well today in such an unfamiliar position, thought he was meant to be "dogshit"! Good to see academy lads doing well. His pace is such a threat.

Spike
Yeah pretty much the only major positive today, it looks as if Burns is capable of playing wing back and at this level.
TRL
Burns is dog shit. And cannot play at this level. And will never be good enough league 2 standard at best. Remember that and stop spouting bollox.

redsquirrel
indeed well done Wes,and an apology from someone who does not know what dog shit is wouldnt go amiss either, particularly to Wes father having to read that tripe, radio commentary isn't much to judge anyone by but certainly sounded like a major threat i honestly thought he might start over Kodjia today but didnt have to wait long . hope Joes ok too? JoeAman08
Wes was fantastic today and looked out biggest threat. He operates well in space and think a wing position suits him even if it isn't WB every match but as an attacking option if need be
ducky
He was our best player today from watching the stream. Pace is a massive asset at any level. He showed a bit of fight against their big left back and won a few tackles which was nice to see. Well done Burns.

REDOXO
Wes was excellent!...Deserves a start on Tuesday and certainly staked a claim to be around the 16.Joe being injured is a blow, any news...?Agard getting 5 minutes is a good sign too... GrahamC
He is a far better player that some morons on here give him credit for. That being said it is an indictment of our "squad" that we had to play musical chairs in a positional sense to bring him on for Bryan.

chinapig
Alan Dicks converted Donnie Gillies from striker to right back with great success. Maybe Wes will follow suit. Though we may end up with 3 right backs and only 1 left back. Still makes no sense to me to let Greg go without getting a replacement first. Lack of Action Man
On the basis of one game? Let's not lump a huge amount of expectation on a young player who's still got lots to learn about his preferred position.

Randy Marsh
Shut up Randy! He did. He'll always be fast but I'd much rather have a wing back who can deliver a decent final ball. Looked surprisingly good defensively though.

Nogbad the Bad
As someone who's spoken up for Wes on here on numerous occasions it's very pleasing to see the way he impressed today. He looked comfortable and confident every time he got the ball, and on a couple of occasions made outstanding runs finished off by a good cross. Should have had a penalty too - no doubt he was clipped, in fact it looked like twice to me. For those who've said he should be loaned out, his progress will be better served here now, surrounded by good players, than being thrown in to a possibly struggling L1, or even L2, team again, with poor players around him. Provided Cotts. gives him plenty of opportunities on the pitch of course, something I reckon he'll have made his mind up to do after today's performance. samo II
Gave us thrust and energy when he came on; looks threatening. Good to see, and hope it leads to more game time for the lad - could be a big season for him.

WithywoodRed
Fortunately, pace is something you can't really teach where as a good final ball is.

Taylor10
Pleased for Wes after today. I think it just goes to show the potential he has to be able to fill in at wing back at champ level and perform so well. Let's be honest it's not a position he's familiar with but his pace and direct style will worry defenders for sure. Fair play Wes lad. Long may it continue. Sargent Pepper
He made a good fist of it to be fair and i think he is much more of a threat out wide than he is up front. Having said that, we have 2 decent RWB (when fit) which is currently now our strongest position and i fully expect Litts and Fredericks to battle it it out there.
