Bolasie 25M To Tottenham

Wow.

Certainly explains why Palace would be wanting that 15% back...

Also, why our offer for Gayle could be as much as 10M as the papers said, as 6m cash and the writing off the sell on fee makes it 9.75M. But if the lad doesn't want to come, he doesn't want to come.

But 3.75M could certainly bolster our defence, and midfield and then we still have 6M to buy a marquee striker.

Where is this being reported? And do you know for a fact that we're willing to write off the sell on?

Loads of London papers and Telegraph running with it, was on Sky Sports News just before kick off and was mentioned in the studio as well, Tottenham have sold someone and Bolasie is their target and 25M is the offer.

No I don't know that for sure, however it's been reported in many places that we are and that constitutes the add on, as Palace was 10M, and we offered 6M plus Bolasies sell on fee, so that met Palace's demands.

Agree with your comments 100%. It's a no brainer.

Wow that would be handy for us. No way should we spend all that on gayle though with the fee and dropping the sell on clause. Only do that if lansdown gives cotteril a few million to spend on a few more players as well.

We'll not be getting Gayle anyway; SC has confirmed he's not moving.

No matter; we'll take those millions, and if I'm not wrong that would make us cost neutral at least on signings this summer - worse things to be with the transfer window coming to a close; might enable us to be more bold.
