Plus, when some actually want Nicky Maynard back, that's a sign of not being able to let it go. A player that ****** the club over and is long past his best after years of injury and sitting on the bench, instead of a player mistakenly let go on a free in his prime. A player that ****** the club over and is long past his best after years of injury and sitting on the bench, instead of a player mistakenly let go on a free in his prime. the club didn't really have any choice about thomas, he wanted to go, said he was going and the money he's on now at qpr is more than we pay 3 of our players. we are keeping to a wage budget, hence the reason gayle couldn't agree personal terms. thomas isn't gonna set the championship on fire, he'll only be used in the league cup and occasional league games when others are injured. you really need to let him go, he was good when he wanted to be and we used him well. he's a mercenary and we don't need players like that who will only reduce the amount we can offer to others.
