Would be a very good loan signing and with Leicester looking good already in prem, if they have a good season might not be needed and therefore available permanently to us if it works out

I see that Stockhausen posted the interest in Moore a few minutes ago - he must have just logged onto OTIB..

I think others will be interested in this player and he'll definitely go out on loan..........somewhere.

Us and Leeds have been linked with Moore but there's bound to be others too seeing as though he played in the Prem last season. Let's hope we can get this one over the line.

I notice Nathan Byrne looks like he's definitely off tomorrow for about a million quid to QPR or Wolves in all likelihood - we're not interested.

No point in being interested in truth if Wolves are paying him what they paid Jed (1 sub appearance so far) Wallace.

Leeds United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Brentford and Fulham have all previously been linked with the youngster.

No Chance!

Ive got a good feeling about this one .

Couple of those teams are skinner than us; another few have already signed a good number of defenders.

One advantage of having so few players means that anyone moving here has an almost guaranteed squad place; not sure at several of those clubs.

Liam Moore following @bcfctweets on twitter almost certainly confirms that talks are taking place. The fact that he's unfollowed us may be due to the attention that action has been getting or because talks have broken down. who knows? I expect this one is a goer though. Hopefully it will go through tomorrow.

Does cotts have any history with ranieri? Hamer and Moore? First reserve on Mahrez anyone?

Mahrez is being linked with Arsenal so no chance there unfortunately!! He's had a great start to the season with Leciester.

I doubt anyone on here really thinks we have a chance with the current top scorer in the Premier League. Then again... Michael Owen.

Sky saying this will be completed today.

Bristol City are close to signing Leicester City’s Liam Moore on a season long loan from Leicester.

The centre-back, who made 11 appearances in the Premier League last season, looks set to be announced as a Bristol City player later today.

I wonder if we might see the movement of Ayling into Pack's position and slot Moore in the RCB.

I could be completely off target but I think Ayling could excel in that role.

I agree with this, from what I've seen this season we need to be more solid at the back and in my opinion Ayling would be better in midfield.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Sticking to the same formation it¨s likely to be Moore, Flint & Baker as centre backs. Ayling as cover up for Little and Williams becoming "Cunningham"

More likely Ayling taking over Pack's position, better distribution and better going forward with the ball. Played at Yeovil in the midfield.

Signed on a loan until January 4th, as per the article on the official site.

I have no comprehensive understanding about rules for loanees…………………if Moore excels and becomes an integral  member of the back line…..what can happen on Jan 4th?  Can the loan be extended?  or does he have to return to his  parent club, unless we sign him permanently (probably unlikely, as we can't afford him). What are the rules Oh knowledgeable ones?

From the interview on player, I got the impression that the loan could be made permanent if everything went well.

Extraordinary comment. Ayling played midfield for Yeovil about twice. I hardly think SC is going to plunge him into the middle of the park just to fit another player into the team.

Said right at the start of the summer I thought Ayling may move to RWB as SC wanted someone more solid at RCB and I'm  sticking with that prediction!
