BLUE AND WHITE.

HORSES BEWARE.

Ah, phew, it's the other B.R.F.C.

Might be the closest we get to a league derby anytime soon, though.

So if we lose, we can just blame the thousands of Rovers supporters that'll be in the away end, obviously.

Always interesting to read opposing fans views on BCFC,

Read the Blackburn forum link for Saturdays game, and this one comment left a nasty taste , " 2-1 to the good guys. I think we'll be right up for this one. Rhodes and Hanley notching for us in a game we fully deserve to win. COYB".

I know there are people on this forum whose comments can be "Cringworthy" but how can anyone deserve to win when the game is still 40+ hours away!!!!!!

Come on City, let's put this person in his place and send them home pointless

Rovers (Blackburn) fan in peace here. In defence of my fellow BRFC fan, I think you have misunderstood his post. He is predicting that, at the end of the game, he thinks Rovers will have played well enough to have won and fully deserved it. He's not saying that, as a matter of fact and by automatic rights, Rovers deserve to win the game tomorrow. He has made a prediction in the same way that one BCFC fan on this thread has predicted that you will win 3:0 (presumably meaning that he thinks you will have fully deserved the win).

I often browse the opposition team's message boards in the run up to our game against them, just to get a flavour of how they are currently feeling about their team, what they think of Rovers and what they think the result will be. It seems that feelings are quite mixed amongst your fans at the moment. I get the impression that, until last week's bad defeat to Rotherham, you have been playing reasonably well without necessarily getting the results to match the performances. Would that be fair to say?

At the moment, Rovers fans are virtually united in optimism for the first time in about 5 years. After five years of making terrible decision after terrible decision, the Venky's suddenly appear to have grasped what needs to be done (or they have started listening to someone who knows what they're talking about). They have finally appointed an actual manager with experience which is what we've been crying out for; even better than that, he has a CV showing that he has achieved success at this level. I think it's going to be a couple of months or so before we really see an upturn in results/performances because it will take time for Paul Lambert to get our players (a) at the requisite level of fitness and (b) playing the high pressing, high tempo style that Lambert prefers. I expect to finish around 10th this season and hope for a push for the play-offs next season.

I went to the 5:3 game a couple of seasons ago and would love a repeat but I expect it to be a draw tomorrow with both teams scoring. We are real draw specialists and struggle to keep clean sheets. But we do have Jordan Rhodes which helps (provided we actually create chances for him which we frequently fail to do).

Good point well made BRFC (of the Lancashire Variety) Maybe your colleagues were lost in translation.

Saying that, I'm still hopeful we can pinch all three points tomorrow then maybe sign Jordan Rhodes in January!

Played not too bad against a Hull team full of ex Premiership players, with a sprinkling of internationals....then battered at Rotherham. Welcome to our crazy world!

I know a few Blackburn fans, so I hope to God that we can find 3 points from somewhere. But with Rhodes in your team I think it's safe to say you'll score at least once! I'm going for a score draw too, and quite possibly not a fantastic game of football. As for the Venky's, we have some dealings with them at work, my mates make me spit every time I hear their name!!

Looks negative but how positive can you be at the moment. Hope I'm woefully off on my predictions.

I can only see a score draw (one for the coupon) 1 - 1  Rhodes to score in the 49th minute and Del boy to score in off the post in the 75th, aided by storm Desmond!  I also predict the game will be a sell out and pies will run out in the 47th minute. btw, that's not a players name.  I also predict that I will be sat by my laptop listening to RB's commentary and keeping my fingers crossed every time Blackburn attack.

I thought there was a lot more to come from us in the game against Hull, but also thought we were worth the draw.
