Tipps
Tins held "encouraging" talks with Heffernan yesterday and Heffernan has expressed an interest in joining City. City have had an initial offer of compensation turned down by Notts County but are going to be putting in an improved offer, thought to be in excess of £100,000. Lets hope the club can pull this off, would be nice to have him on board.

nickD
If this comes off this would be brilliant. All we need to do now is to actually feed the top two a lot more decent balls.......oh wait, Brown's wanting to leave!
Robbored
The good things about Heffernan are that he's a proven goalscorer at Division 2 level despite being in a struggling team. He's also young 22 or 23 I think. He could be the "tap-in" striker that City so desperately need. If he signs - what about Gillespie? who could probably do the same job.
