B-Rizzle
All of our good players seem to be leaving. This will leave us with a half decent squad with hardly any cover for injuries. In my oppinion we should keep everyone we've got and sign heffernan this will give us a strong team. Can you spot any weaknesses? .....................................Phillips.................................. ........................Carey........Fortune...Coles................. Guest bristollionheart
Yeah I can spot loads of weaknesses, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't win the league hands down with that side, because we would. However, we will not be playing that side next season. Peacock is surely on his way out, A.Brown and Carey have rejected contract offers, Doherty is attracting interest from a number of clubs, and Micky Adams was watching us last season (Coles maybe?), so it's not looking good, even Fortune is wanted by a club in a higher division. With the money so tight, it's going to be a struggle to hold onto players. Also, we always suffer badly from injuries for some reason, there will no doubt be some bloody annoying injury problems throughout the season, always the same with us. But hey, if we started with that team every game we'll have a season-long party

Robbored
I'm not worried at all. Even if the likes of Brown and Peacock leave City are still blessed with some good players capable of winning promotion. Defensively - Fortune,Butler,Hill,Coles,Woodman,Bell and possibly Carey. Midfield - Tinnion,Docherty,Goodfellow,Murray,Wilkshire and Amankwaah. Strikers - Lita, Miller,Gillespie and Roberts. Plus any new players that Tinnion brings in. With another decent attacking midfielder and a striker City would stand a great chance of winning the league.

Guest bristollionheart
Midfield - Amankwaah. He is a right-back/centre-back when he's at his best.
Robbored
but it still doesnt give us anything down the left attacking wise... Goodfellow is left footed ( no-one told Wilson) and very quick and a natural goalscorer. He could do a good job down the left.Especially in a 3-5-2. Bell (when he's interested) is also a half decent left sided player. Two options already and I haven't really thought about it....

Goodfellow is the type of player who would be better of playing on the sides of three-man attack rather than a wing-back role, he is attack-minded and likes to be high up the pitch, he says his favourite position is up front. When he was at Stoke, even though he's left footed, he always played right-wing because it was his best position.
