What a shambles (club shop)

Not a rugby fan but quite like the shirts and now Bristol play at Ashton gate thought I'd follow them a bit more.

So for my birthday present before xmas from my in laws I asked for the red away Bristol rugby shirt.

This was ordered online and arrived wrongly as the Bristol rugby home shirt.

However I quite liked it so decided to keep it and asked my sister to get me the away Bristol rugby shirt that I originally wanted for Christmas.

This arrived this morning once again wrongly as the black Bristol city away kit.

Unbelieveable.

Sounds as if it was human error. We all know that kind of thing can happen anywhere.

Sorry to say robbo I had the same thing last season.

Also was down the ground yesterday and there were a few people at the tills returning wrong items.

However all that said stadium and facilities are looking fantastic.

In which case the club should employ a competent shop manager whose priority should be training the employees to a higher standard.

To be sent the wrong goods once is bad enough but twice is completely careless!

I have an absolutely massive porn collection on dvd. I have lost count of the number of times I have had to explain to shocked family members that I had ticked the box for David Attenborough documentaries each time but they sent me all sorts of random chud such as Wet and Smelly 5 to my huge frustration.

Seems to me that the person in charge of dispatching online sales has increased turnover by at least i shirt , if he/she does it to every order then  he/she could increase sales substantially.

I nominate them for club shop employee of the season.

I had a similar problem in the summer when I had the wrong sized home shirt sent for my daughter. They were good enough to print a name on the back free of charge though.

More frustrating was the lack of available stock in late November when the Christmas shopping period started. There were a number of items that were out of stock and when asked the staff either replied they weren't sure anymore would be in or they knew there wouldn't be anymore stock. Seems bad business to be low on stock at Christmas !!

Obviously I can only talk from personal experience, but the 'off the field' stuff continues to baffle me because of the continual errors and frustrations.

Before the season started I renewed the four season tickets my company has at the Gate. They managed to send three to one wrong name and address and one to another wrong name and address!

Then I thought I'd buy four season tickets for the rugby, and the same thing happened!

So they had to go through a tired process of cancelling the eight originals and reissuing them and I had to pick them up from the ground.

And ordering away tickets online has been another huge frustration - I've given up on a few occasions.

I love my club but they often drive me mad - rather like a good woman!

Happy New Year all!

The staff that continue to make all these mistakes really annoy me. Most I assume are Bristol City fans. It should be a pleasure and a privilege to work for BCFC and just like we demand 100% effort from the players the off field staff should also give the same. To achieve success every member of staff needs to give 100% if they don't then move out of the way and give the job to someone who will.

Bristol City have for years had problems with staff members and it needs someone high up to employ only the best of the best.

Stop everything.

THINK.

If we forgive Lee Johnson for the clubs recent problems, by association, we should forgive Robbored for everything that happens on OTIB.

Is that what you want?

Exactly.

THINKING is a good thing.
