There are fans on twitter claiming we have only 13 fit  players for Saturday , if this is true this must be a real low point in the clubs history.

Oh well. At least we'll get to see some new faces in the team. SC will be forced into it!

Based on the current situation, this must be right. Wagstaff, Agard, Williams, Baker are either injured or not considered fit. Thus, with 4 loans also gone, we must be down to bear bones. Unacceptable, particularly as we have 2 huge home games coming up. Cant really believe what has happened.....

And they know how?

We currently have 18 players, though El-Abd is cup tied.

Assuming Williams is out (seeing he missed the last game) and Baker and even Freeman (who both went off) are too, that still leaves 15.

Pathetic, but not 13.

It was said last Saturday that Agard and Wagstaff, had only trained for a day after their recent injuries so, were just filling the bench but were in no shape to play.

Inept board playing business like a computer game. They should step aside and let others do it properly.

Unfortunately this is actually right...

We have a squad of 18 players, 4 of which are injured (Baker, Williams, Wagstaff and Agard)

Included in that 18 is El-Abd whether or not he's been recalled I don't know, but he's cup tied anyway

Which leaves us with 13, absolute shambles! How have we messed up this bad?!

Only city could royally **** something up this bad after what we accomplished last season!

Unbelievable

This is incorrect

Thank you.

Waggy was on the bench at Reading, he may not be 100% but he is available.

far as I was aware agard was injured still and so was waggy!

not saying that's definate as you'll know far more than me, but still 15/16 players fit is a shambles!

Oh I'm sure the 5,000 bothering to waste their day on Saturday would love to see the u21's!!

Not bothered. i wouldn't risk any of our main players getting injured when we have a lack of numbers.

So....

----------------------------------------------------------FF----------------------------------------------------------

--------------Ayling----------------------------------Flint-------------------------Baker-------------------------

Little--------------------------Pack--------------------------------Smith-----------------------------------Bryan

----------------------------------------------------Freeman---------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------Kodj--------------------------------------Wilbs----------------------------------------

Subs Burns, Reid, Waggy (not match fit), Agard ( not fit ), O'Leary.

2 subs fit...no defensive cover....unreal....

Would love Burns and Reid to play against WBA and score...still think SC wouldn't pick them though.

This shambolic situation reminds me how we meekly let Greg Cunningham sign for a rival simply because he wanted to go.

All very nice of the club, but at what point do you put the club above the individual? How critical did the situation have to get?

With Williams playing plenty of games at LWB I'm certain that, in hindsight, Cunningham would have got plenty of game time this season. The guy was under contract and was paid a lot of money - would it have been so unreasonable to expect him to have honoured that contract? Sure, Cunningham got his move, but what good did it do the club? We sanctioned his departure without any replacement lined up. It's this sort of decision making that makes no sense to me. Like I said, shambolic.

Yes but the big wages have not been spent on any players to help the cause, unless you count Simon cox's 20 mins of play!!

El-Abd  is not coming back. Source Bristol Post.

He said that he was and that unfortunately although he enjoyed his time at Swindon and wanted to return it was not going to happen due to "reasons"

Homeland is far more entertaining than otib! Especially in silly season!!

We should put Carrie Mathison or whatever her name is in charge of transfer negotiations.  Without her medication.

We'd sign some players then...

we are truly down to the bones. The problem is SC like's to have a small group of players put with that a cheap skate board of directors trying to run a championship club on a league 1 Budget and we find ourselves in this position now. Call off the game and give the win to our opponents city are unable to field a team when Saturday comes.
