cidered abroad
Ever since I started watching City some 66 years ago, the white shirts and black shorts away kit has been used for, I would estimate, 85% of seasons. Also I would add that City have almost always preferred to wear either red or black shorts with a red shirt, rather than going to the full away kit if only a change of shorts colour is necessary. Many other clubs go to full kit change and I prefer how City do it.

It's something I wish all clubs would do...keep a tradition...where they register their home and away colours with the FA, and stick to them. A third kit should be the only one that changes imo. Red,white, Red home....White, Black, Black away....maybe purple, lime, white third kit. However...I do believe the 'authorities' are trying to get any away team, to wear the same colour on shirts, shorts and socks. As in all red, all white etc.
sglosbcfc
I think we should rotate between variations of purple and lime and white and black for our away kit. Enough variety to keep everyone happy including traditionists, at the same time we develop a clearly identifiable second set of colours.

That white and black away kit needs to be revived along with the robin badge ASAP , hopefully for next season. Should have the robin on away kits and crest on home kits. Would be a fitting tribute to James Grieve as well.
'Orns
White / black / black is how I remember it as a kid, but it's quite generic Purple & lime says City, but I'd prefer the white & black (with the robin badge!)
Major Isewater
Black gloves, white frostBlack crepe, white leadWhite sheet, black knightJet black, dead white for the keeper . White And Black , traditional but boring . Purple and Lime is City , now and as it was in the beginning for ever more .

That home kit with the redesigned crest on it being modeled by Dave Cotterell was pretty bad, although I don't think it ever made it to production. Natchfever
I voted purple and lime but really the City away kit is white and black. In terms of what i'd like to see - as a third kit all navy. I wonder if BS has something like that in mind because Bristol rugby's change kit is now all red.
Lack of Action Man
I'd like a revival of this classic. White and black is generic and boring.
Curr Avon
I voted for traditional white and black. Mind you, I'll never forget the Purple Reign. . . . .
