Martinez Sacked

The Coach

Recommended Posts

To paraphrase Chas n Dave, "Everton fans: there ain't no pleasin' you." Nothing, and no-one, will ever be good enough for them, you sense. It must be hard, though, being a Toffee, with all that has happened at LFC since Shankly went there and won the League in 1964 (taking the pot from Everton). Even when they are relatively sh1te, Liverpool win a Champions League and make another final, win the other Euro pot and make the final of that again, they attract millions of fans around the world, attract a coach like Klopp, etc etc. Everton were, historically, the great club in Liverpool and the better supported one. If it hadn't been for Bill Shankly......

So Red Wizard starts a rumour on OTIB that Martinez will be sacked and in the hour that followed it came to pass, that's magic .

Could you start a rumour that we are signing Lee Tomlin please your Wizardness ?

Want the lottery numbers instead?

Another moronic footballing descion amongst many others. :grr:  Do these chairmen and boards learn anything?! If it carries on at this rate managers will only be employed on a week by week basis. I miss the old days when clubs had a five/ten/twenty year plan with the same coach/manager. :sad26:

to be fair, he's been there 3 years, good first season, then they went backwards big time, this sacking is justified imo,

Two semi finals in the major tournaments and Fifteenth in the Prem  is not too shabby although a bit disappointing to have been so close and failing at the last hurdle.

Will the Toffees come unstuck ?

Fifteenth in the Prem is rubbish, to be honest
