Claverham_Red
Not a transfer target but an ex City loanee! It's been a slow day....my brother-in-law recalled a time he was working on Keith Welch's house when he was out injured in 1996, as it turns out, and City got Sieb Dijkstra on loan from QPR. Just before my time so does anyone have any recollections of this former loanee who played a grand total of 8 games for the club?! His Wikipedia page suggests he didn't play much elsewhere... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sieb_Dijkstra

DANWRENBCFC4LIFE
I remember the name. Can't remember him playing though. The photo makes it look like he has water on the brain.
And Its Smith
Since I started watching City in 1988 he's the best keeper to wear a city shirt in my opinion. Only a few games but he was immense.
DANWRENBCFC4LIFE
Oh hang on, I don't think the highlight of his tenure was ridiculously long goal kicks
glynriley
Decent keeper, but probably best remembered for an on field barney with Phil Starbuck.
Offside
I remember him being in our team but I can't remember if he was any good. I do recall marvelling at the hairstyle and moustache, though.
Jersey Bristolian
He was great, Big bloke, commanded the area and had a massive kick, don't think we could afford his wages if I remember correctly?
Barrs Court Red
All I can remember is him being great and a Evil Post article ruling out a permanent move because we couldn't afford the transfer fee.
TRL
He was Very good for us. Was huge seemed to catch and save everything. Looked a very good keeper in his short spell with us. Probably the best keeper I've seen for us. But anyone can look good over a short spell.

One Team In Keynsham
Given he played for us before I left the country, I probably saw him play. But, I have no recollection of ever seeing him. Was he any good? Was he better than Jan Möller?
054123
I have a vague memory of him saving a penalty, can anyone confirm this?
ralphindevon
He was a bit of a monster, I can remember him running off his line to catch a ball from a corner and knocking about 5 players over, mainly our players, in the process. It was like watching human skittles.

I think that may have been Notts County away, we went 2 down but ended up with a 2-2, I think he saved the pen after we had drawn level

brady bunch
He was top draw, real big lad and good skill, a bit out of our league money wise at the time.

awbb
Clemens Zwijnenberg! I could be totally wrong but I am pretty sure Dykstra made his debut away at Burnden Park and we beat Bolton. After 5 minutes I couldn't believe how much better it was to have a keeper who dealt with stuff in the air, Elvis & Leaning hadn't ever taught me it could be done like that!
