Sick note Reputations

Some players just seem to spend more time in the treatment room than on the pitch .

We have had Ribero and James Wilson both talented players , let go by us and happily  playing regularly at other clubs .

Who is the worst sick note player to have graced the physio's couch ?

Are there certain clubs who have more injuries than is normal ?

Sean Dyche, Major. Even now, he seems to have a perpetual sore throat....

Ah Sean Dyche , Holland and Mercer what a catastrophy.

Basically tried to buy the core of the Chesterfield side that did so well in the cup.

It seems all those guys overplayed during their successful season and arrived carrying injuries and ran on ' empty ' for us before being replaced.

We were so amateur back then .

Didn't we have vast amounts of injuries during Danny Wilson's management?  I seem to remember that there were about three out every week.

There was something definitely wrong with the training as that's where most of the injuries happened rather than on the pitch.  Somebody suggested (in jest, hopefully) that they were doing Tarzan style assault courses.

Lee Mathews and Paul Mortimer are the two that spring to mind.

Mathews could get injured putting his boots on.......

Steve Brooker, in his defence it would seem that our physio caused increased damage.

Mathews and Brooker could have been excellent players for City, if only they had been fit. In the case of Brooker, I think his injury was the difference between automatic promotion to the Premier League and missing out in the playoffs. All that was needed that season was a few extra goals.

Lee Matthews. Put his back out whilst warming up to enter the game as a second half sub.
