mcheneyred
Looking at the highlights against Villa, I was struck by the run that Joe Bryan made to score...starting 5/10 yards inside his own half when Abraham received the ball and waited to find options. There was amazing understanding between the two for Abraham to wait, anticipate the run and then thread the ball through to cut open Villa's defence. The more I look at it the better it gets. Amazing tenacity, vision and finishing ..especially after a recovery from injury in the previous week. I'm not sure that it isn't better than the nominated Championship goal of the week by Tomlin, which in itself is the sort of dead ball skill rarely seen at city for many many years. Robbored
It was a well made goal for sure but oddly enough Bryan said in his post match interview that he scuffed it....
